I was honored to be the Art Director of this international SCAD collaboration project for Schlögl's Altberliner Gaststätte. This traditional family-style German restaurant captured our hearts with it's welcoming atmosphere and cuisine.

Our goal was to keep the overall authenticity of the restaurant, but create a contemporary, cohesive, experience for locals and tourists alike that merges the history and traditional food of Berlin through promotional materials and advertising. This extensive project includes updating existing materials of the restaurant (branding, menu, guidance, and packaging) as well as creating new promotional extensions (zine, cookbook, wall installation, and Christmas market pop-up).  Throughout this project, we took great care to incorporate Bavarian art influence which is important to the traditional culture of Germany and Bauhaus design that is still championed in Berlin.
